MAY MINI RECAP

We were delighted to be one of the sponsors for the HKFC Soccer Sevens tournament, as well as the title sponsor for the Junior Soccer Sevens event, both of which took place last month at the Hong Kong Football Club. The tournaments were tremendous successes, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who was involved in organizing and participating in these events.

A big congratulations is also in order for our very own Coach Daniel, who played for the Yau Yee Select team and made it all the way to the Men's Plate Final - well done, Daniel!

‍COACH OF THE MONTH  

Our Coach of the Month for May is Coach Harry. He has earned this recognition based on the excellent post-class feedback ratings provided by our participants, which are collected at 8:15pm on the day of each session. We encourage app users to submit your ratings for the June classes in the coming weeks. Your feedback is instrumental in helping us recognise and celebrate our top coaches.

Coach Harry has dedicated a tremendous amount of time and effort to ensuring that all sessions run smoothly throughout May. He has also been instrumental in introducing customised party themes requested by families to help make their special occasions even more memorable. Additionally, Coach Harry has received very positive feedback from parents regarding his coaching abilities and approach. Well done, Coach Harry!

_SINGAPORE

Minisport  is set to launch in Singapore in mid-June. Our franchisee, Antoine, along with Head Coach, Leiza, will be visiting Hong Kong from June 3rd to June 8th. During this time, they will undergo thorough operational and practical training in preparation for this exciting new addition to the Singapore youth sports scene.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Coach Jacob and Coach Grace as they depart for the UK. We want to express our sincere gratitude to them both for their unwavering hard work and dedication since August 2023- they will be deeply missed. At the same time, we wish them all the best as they embark on this next chapter of their careers.

On a positive note, we are excited to announce the arrival of new coaches from the UK who will be joining our ever-growing Minisport team. We are confident they will be valuable additions and highly-valued members of our organisation.

^TERM 1

An expanded schedule featuring more class options and new timings will be made available on June 7th through the Minisport app. We will maintain our strict class size limit of 9 students per group.

Throughout this 17-week term, we will continue to offer instruction across all 6 of our sports disciplines. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Term 1 is always the term we look forward to, with wonderful weather that allows us to make the most of our outdoor activities.

^{EURO 2024 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT} 

Our Minisport coaches will be going for gold in a 7-a-side football tournament (Euro 2024) at the Hong Kong Football Club on June 28th. Our talented coaching staff will be proudly representing the country of Georgia at this event, where all proceeds will be donated to the Love 21 Foundation.

^{PLAY IN THE PARK}

Starting in the fall, we will be hosting bi-weekly events at parks throughout Hong Kong that will be open to all children between the ages of 2.5 and 7 years old. These sessions, priced at just $250/session, will follow our signature party-style coaching approach, with groups of up to 15 kids participating in exciting games designed to burn energy and engage them for the full hour. Expect tug of wars, treasure hunts, races & much more.

We encourage families to come out, bring their own food and drinks, and use this as an opportunity to socialise with other parents while our coaches take care of the children. These weekend events are a wonderful way for kids to spend quality time outdoors, use up any remaining credits, meet new families, and create lasting memories.

More details on these upcoming park sessions will be provided soon, and are bookable via the app.

^{STAFF WELLNESS DAY}

After a long, eventful, and varied term, our coaching team will take some time to recharge on June 29th as they set sail on a team junk excursion. These types of days allow our dedicated staff to connect, reflect, and rejuvenate in preparation for the upcoming summer camp season.

• West Kowloon, weekday classes (morning and afternoon).
• Ma On Shan, weekday classes (morning and afternoon)
• Soho House, weekday classes (morning)

Can't find a class that fits your location? Did you know we now have a venue request feature on the Minisport app? You can use this to express interest in areas where we have not yet scheduled classes. This helps us identify demand and plan new class offerings accordingly.

NEW APP FEATURES

The Minisport App is constantly evolving to create a better, more user friendly experience and we thank you all for your feedback that greatly enables us to serve you better.

Here are some new features parents can use:

• Parents can now book parties directly through the Minisport app. Any unused credit in the account will be automatically deducted during the checkout process.
• Additionally, parents can now hide classes that are full when searching, resulting in a more streamlined class selection experience.

‍Did you know that you can set your child's mood before class? Let coaches know in advance how your child is feeling on a particular day by using the mood setter in our App!
